John has been a REALTOR® since 1990 specializing in residential sales, though he has done his share of leasing for clients during the recent economic downturn. In 2000, he was named Salesman of the Year by the Austin Board of REALTORS®. He holds the professional designations of Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), GREEN, and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). He graduated from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN.
At this year’s conference, John will be delivering NAR’s Smart Growth for the 21st Century course on Thursday. He is on the Land Use, Private Property Rights and Environment committee, so he will attend that meeting and its forum. He serves on NAR’s GREEN Designation Advisory Board, which meets at the Conference. He is excited to attend this year’s Evergreen Awards, since his State Association is one of the honorees. For fun he will attend the political discussions, the Glen Frey Concert, and the Trade Show.
He is attending with his wife, Sharon, President of their Brokerage and their youngest son, Ryan, Marketing Director for their firm.
