Century 21 Redwood Adopt the REach™ Insight Panel

Earlier this year, around the end of July, Century 21 Redwood Realty got an early Christmas present – an invitation to be part of the 2013 National Association of REALTORS’® REach Program. I talked a little about the program here on our company blog, but wanted to talk about how exciting it was for Century 21 Redwood Realty’s agents to once again be on the cutting edge of real estate technology with some amazing companies. The 2013 NAR REach companies continually impressed us with their savvy, engagement, and awesome products.

We worked with five of the seven NAR REach companies: Lumentus Social, BombBomb, Planwise, Treater, and Updater. With the aid of those five companies and the NAR REach team, we devised a training course for agents of all seven of our offices in the Northern Virginia and Washington DC area. What was most admirable about those companies was their instant engagement with me, as coordinator, and continuous requests for assessment and reassessment of the products from our agents. Our agents immediately grasped each of the companies’ utility in making their business lives easier and creating a point of difference for them. They began implementing the different NAR REach offerings with enthusiasm, meeting with across the board success. The brokerage also utilized several of the program’s offerings for its own purposes, and subsequently has invested in several of the products. We couldn’t be more pleased with the invitation nor the outcome.

The NAR REach program is a fantastic forum for new or burgeoning real estate technology companies to strut their stuff while gaining important feedback from real estate agents in the field. The mutually beneficial platform that the NAR REach program provides for both participating beta brokerages and the chosen REach companies is truly an outstanding one, one that Century 21 Redwood Realty is proud to have been a part of. One really gets a sense that participating companies are eager and willing to do what it takes to succeed in the real estate technology world, to stand out from the rest and hone their product to be the best of the best. Kudos to all that participated in the 2013 NAR REach Program – we can’t wait to see what the 2014 REach Program brings!
